About the neighborhood
One of White Plains' historic close-in neighborhoods.
Fisher Hill is a historic neighborhood within walking distance of the central business district of White Plains, New York. Residential development began around 1900, and many of the large vintage homes from that era still define the neighborhood's character today. Fisher Hill is notably diverse in ethnicity, age, and income.
The yellow outline on the map traces the neighborhood's bounds — the Bronx River Parkway to the west and Post Road to the east, with downtown and White Plains Hospital just beyond the northeast corner.
